Your tasks

• Responsibility for strategic and opera­tional purcha­sing of heavy load and OOG trans­por­ta­tion services (land, sea, inland waterway, rail)
• Selection, evalua­tion and nego­tia­tion with national and inter­na­tional carriers and service providers
• Obtaining, comparing and calcu­la­ting freight rates for project shipments
• Development and main­ten­ance of a qualified network of subcon­trac­tors and transport service providers
• Close coope­ra­tion with sche­du­ling, project manage­ment and customer service to ensure efficient logistics solutions
• Support in the prepa­ra­tion of offers and tenders
• Contract manage­ment and moni­to­ring of supplier services in the project environment

Your profile

• Apprenticeship as a busi­nessman (m/f/d) for forwar­ding and logistics services, ideally supple­mented by further training in logistics business administration
• Extensive profes­sional expe­ri­ence in project logistics and heavy load/OOG transportation
• Practice in nego­tia­ting and purcha­sing freight services across different modes of transport
• Deep under­stan­ding of technical, opera­tional and economic requi­re­ments in the field of heavy transportation
• Confident handling of MS Office (espe­ci­ally Excel), VEMAGS system as well as industry knowledge in the field of permits and inter­na­tional transport processing
• Strong commu­ni­ca­tion skills, nego­tia­tion skills and a high degree of personal responsibility
• Very good knowledge of German, good knowledge of English, French an advantage
